  my eating disorder...
before that, check this
it's a britney-addict, and electronics-geek webpage... i find it quite remarkable...hahaha... electronic topics with britney pictures everywhere. It should be inspiring for britney fans :P

okay back to topic...

Bingeing eating disorder...

I certainly have most of the symptoms, except for a few (one of which is I guess obesity but I'm heading for that). Anyway, here are the symptoms:

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS OF BINGE EATING DISORDER
• Frequent episodes of eating large quantities of food in short periods of time often secretly, without regard to feelings of "hunger" or "fullness" and without really tasting the food. (yeah...especially when I'm emotionally upset these days... hahahaha... As in seriously I couldn't tell whether I'm full or not, I just keep putting food on my mouth hoping that the next piece would do... )
• Feels out of control and unable to stop eating during binges.
• May eat alone, rapidly and secretly, or may snack and nibble all day long. ( alone or not... I eat... )
• Feels guilty and ashamed of binge eating. ( well... sort of sometimes when I feel like going for a diet... )
• Has a history of diet failures. (hahaha... not a long one though, during my elem and hi-skul years I didn't have this disorder...probably university stress led me to find comfort in bingeing... )
• Tends to be depressed and obese.
• Feelings of shame, disgust, or guilt after a binge.
• People who have binge eating disorder do not regularly vomit, overexercise, or abuse laxatives.

SELF-HELP TIPS FOR BULIMIA NERVOSA & BINGE EATING DISORDER
• Don't let yourself get hungry, angry, lonely, tired, or bored. All these states are powerful binge triggers. (I guess so too... )
• Stay busy (I think I am) and avoid unstructured time (I wish I could work on this). Empty time is too easily filled with binge food.
• Make sure that you touch base with loved ones and friends everyday.
• Take control of your life. Make choices thoughtfully and deliberately. Make your living situation safe and comfortable.
• Every day do something fun, something relaxing, something energizing.
• Keep tabs on your feelings. Several times a day ask yourself how you feel. If you get off track, do whatever the situation requires to get back to your comfort zone. (hmmmm... )

just a break from my daily stuff... this is me and my life
the story is not mine, so is the plot
but come with me and take the plunge
swim in the ocean of life
make some ripples down the long eternity
and praise Him again and again for this opportunity
