Pope John Paul II
everybody's blogging about him...
hehe, i guess i'm going with the bandwagon...
just a short message...
I don't think we ought to be sad for him... In fact, we should be happy because finally he is returning home like what Kor said in her blog... Somehow, mourning for him is not what Solomon would do, but rather Solomon would mourn for himself because he still lives in this world (in case he is still alive today...hehe). Besides, for Christians, death is not the end of everything. Death is birth, and we all will have an appointment with it.
Prayers will do, but I guess we should pray more for the living not the dead. They already left this world of testing, so what we should really be concerned of are the ones who are still alive taking the "tests". I guess the Pope also doesn't want the world to be sad for him, death is a fact of life and I believe the Pope perfectly knows it's not his end.
To me, it seems like he did a good job as a Pope. Hopefully, the people would pray more about the deserving replacement....
