amazing surprises comes in small packages
I just want to appreciate my birthmate for writing me a testimonial (in friendster). It was unexpected and indeed it came to me as a "sweet" surprise. I mean i know testimonials aren't really big stuff, but hey, after having quite a busy week and getting stuck in your room missing out the joys you could have otherwise enjoyed in the price of your grades, unexpected things from people can be just as good as relaxation...
What was striking in the testimonial is that this birthmate made me ponder again about things i like pondering about... Changes... yep... Funny how time could change people... All the while you are not with them, people are changing, and the next time you see them again you'd be surprised at how much they have grown and changed... I wouldn't be surprised if I'd get surprised when I see my friends again. =) Cool surprises =). I also got a surprise of my own i think... Maybe when my mom sees me again after 9 long months, she'd notice a change; and hopefully, for the better... =)
Interesting to note that God have been working out things, allowing this and that and still get to bend things that they may happen according to His plans. Amazing how young teenagers grow and change, and how God makes Himself known to them all along... Yes, those we're the younger days when all the while we thought we've grown enough but frankly we're just little kids wandering about. Thinking... Thinking that we could do things on our own and then series of events happen, shattering the principles we tried to live on with... Quite complicated events continue to proceed and then we never really realize what actually happened along the way; we just find ourselves standing for the Lord (this is for the case of Christian teens like me) and growing up again from infanthood...
... here i am again... hehe from just an appreciation of a testimonial to some reflections... oh well...
God bless!
